Haiyore! Nyaruko-san episode 8 discussion

Mahiro turns on an old game which brings himself and everyone around him into the gaming world where he must make one of the girls or Hasuta fall in love with him. He must use flags set up by the game and many references to capture the girl and finally get the kiss. Hasuta and Kuko are both out of the question since he's a boy and she's devoted to Nyaruko, the only choice left is either Nyaruko or Tamao.

I can see the ending

In the beginning of the game, all of the characters are acting in order to make Mahiro legitimately fall for them. His mother is given the cutest role even though their relationship is made to seem too close. If this was real life, Mahiro's character would have his view of women ruined after having such a lovey dovey mother.

Nyaruko uses the cliche of being late for school with a piece of bread, Kuko parodies Maria sama ga Miteru and  Hasuta is a more forward sports type, but unable to hide his true cute personality. Once the situation is revealed, everyone's character is broken and they revert back to targeting their love with full force. Even Tamao seems to hold feelings towards Mahiro. I'm unsure about Kuko, but the harem is pretty much complete.

After the previous episode of how Nyaruko portrayed her true feelings, I could assume she would be the main target or at least the escape route. Nyaruko is the only one to get him to react positively even though Tamao was a tempting offer. The choice of falling in love with Nyaruko outweighs the choice of staying in the game forever. It's convenient Nyaruko forgot everything since it save Mahiro the trouble of going back to rejecting her after their love scene. It'll all depend on whether he actually wants a relationship with Nyaruko or not.
